Aliz Simon is a Paris-based fashion designer and art director whose practice moves between garment, image and world-building. With a background in fashion design, textiles, garment construction, colour, fashion history and culture, she approaches art direction through the language of fashion. Her work explores what happens beyond the garment: how clothing becomes image, narrative and cultural context.
Her experience includes Nanushka, Aeron and Vetements. She started as an assisstant within design teams and became art director, responsible for brand identity, creative production, styling and visual development.
Born between two cultures in Transylvania, she works from contrast: East and West, rural and urban, historic and futuristic. Her practice looks for what is essential beneath the noise, building visual worlds that outlast trends.
